FAIRWAY TO LIFE Breast Care Center
Since opening its doors on June 29, 2005, The FAIRWAY TO LIFE Breast Care Center has provided diagnosis and follow-up care to thousands of women in our community. Patients with benign and malignant breast problems often have a complex array of co-existing medical issues that must also be addressed.
Recognizing that a team approach is the best way to care for these patients, the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center developed a multidisciplinary program for evaluating and treating breast diseases.
The Breast Evaluation and Treatment Program, begun more than a decade ago, is one of the most established multidisciplinary breast disease programs in the country.
The program's experienced group of specialists and nationally recognized leaders in the fields of radiology, breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and plastic surgery work together to meet the needs of each patient.
