A new class of drugs was developed by Dr. Angela Brodie at University of Maryland Marlene & Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center.

Dr. Brodie's development aromatase inhibitors represents perhaps the most important advancement in the treatment of breast cancer in the last two decades.

The FAIRWAY TO LIFE Golf Tournament was founded in 1998 by Judy Herman to honor her mother who is a breast cancer survivor. Since 1998, more than 500 businesses and individuals have supported FAIRWAY TO LIFE in it's mission to battle this deadly disease. Almost $1 million has been raised thus far. Since 2002, proceeds have been dedicated to special programs, education and families at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center.

This year, an estimated 200,000 American women will hear the words, "you have breast cancer" and more than 40,000 will die from it. Join the FAIRWAY TO LIFE Golf Tournament in its effort to fight this deadly disease.
